Michael Sova

Michael has ten years of accounting and auditing experience in venture capital and private equity. He is primarily responsible for finance, accounting, investment reporting and compliance for all NGP Capital Funds.

Prior to joining NGP Capital, Michael was responsible for financial, tax and regulatory reporting at Asia Alternatives, a solution platform focused on private equity investments in Asia.

He began his career as an auditor with PriceWaterhouseCoopers specializing in financial reporting and audits for various public and private corporations, including assurance services for venture capital and private equity firms in Silicon Valley. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from San Jose State University.

In his free time, Michael enjoys traveling, backpacking, fishing, reading and running. Michael is based in the US.
